These Terms govern your use of the Places in East Africa app (the "App") provided by Sylus Abel. By using the App you agree to these Terms.

Accounts

You sign in with Apple. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country.

Subscriptions, tokens & payments

• Places Pro is offered as an auto-renewable subscription (weekly, monthly, or annual) and as a one-time Lifetime purchase. Pro unlocks unlimited and multi-country planning, PDF export, day optimization, and a recurring monthly token grant.
• Tokens are a consumable virtual currency used to generate itineraries and unlock certain actions. Token packs are one-time purchases.
• All purchases are processed by Apple and charged to your Apple Account. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel in your Apple Settings → Subscriptions.
• Consumable tokens are non-refundable once granted. Refund requests for any purchase are handled by Apple under its policies.
• Tokens and Pro benefits have no cash value and are non-transferable.

AI-generated content

Itineraries, prices, hours, and other details are generated with AI and third-party data and may be inaccurate or out of date. Verify important details (entry fees, opening times, border requirements, safety) with official sources before you travel. We are not responsible for decisions made based on generated content.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the App, attempt to break or overload it, reverse engineer it, or use it for unlawful purposes.

Intellectual property

The App and its content (excluding your inputs) are owned by us or our licensors. You keep rights to content you submit and grant us a license to process it to provide the App.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the past 12 months.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time.

Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
